CHEF Sal Mazzarella


Thank you for visiting Sal's Pizza south, we are excited to share our family history in the restaurant buisness and tell you about our authentic italian cooking.


Our family comes from Sicily, which is located in southern part of Italy. Sal came to America at the age of 14 years old. He began his career as a baker at Modern Pastry in Hartford CT. Later, Sal realized his love for making pizzas was his true passion. Sal then worked for multiple restaurants which made him realize that he wanted to start his own business with his wife. In 2000, Sal's dream finally came true.


Sal's Pizza features Italian food. Our menu includes appetizers, pizzas, calzones, soups, pastas, subs, salads, dinners,and much much more. All of our dishes are made with love, and the ingredients are fresh and the best quality.
